This agreement is entered into between you (the end user) and Ingeniería.dev, operated by Chris Flores, with its registered address at Av. Javier Barros Sierra 495, Santa Fe Lomas de Santa Fe Zedec Santa Fé, Álvaro Obregón 01219, Mexico City, CDMX, Mexico. Contact: [email protected].
Forma GYM is an iOS application that works as an offline technical guide to 62 gym machines and pieces of equipment. For each one it explains how to adjust it, how to perform the movement, the most common mistakes, and tips for beginner and advanced users. It includes a search tool, routines suggested according to your training level and available time, and a section of dumbbell exercises. All content is static and ships inside the App. The App keeps a local log of the training sessions you confirm and remembers your preferences on your device. It requires no account, requests no system permissions, and needs no internet connection.
We grant you a limited, personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use Forma GYM on iOS devices you own or control, subject to these Terms and to Apple's Standard EULA.
Forma GYM is free. The App contains no In-App Purchases, no subscriptions, no advertising, and no paid content. There is nothing to buy, nothing to cancel, and nothing to restore.
Forma GYM does not require you to create an account or sign up. The App works immediately after installation without any login, email, or personal identifier.
See our Privacy Policy. In short: your training log and your preferences live on your device; we do not collect or transmit personal information, the App requests no system permissions, and it makes no network requests.
The guides and suggested routines are general and are not tailored to your body, your health, or your medical history. If you have a heart condition, high blood pressure, a mobility impairment, an injury, recent surgery, or any health condition affected by physical activity — or if you are pregnant — consult a licensed physician before starting or changing an exercise routine.
Strength training carries inherent risks. You are solely responsible for your own safety while using any gym machine or free weight, including choosing an appropriate load, following the equipment manufacturer's instructions and your gym's rules, asking gym staff for help when in doubt, and using a spotter when lifting heavy free weights. Machines vary between manufacturers and models, so the actual setup of the equipment in your gym may differ from the description in the App. Stop exercising immediately and seek medical attention if you feel pain, dizziness, shortness of breath, chest discomfort, or any other concerning symptom.
We make a reasonable effort to keep the App's content accurate and aligned with widely accepted exercise guidance. However, exercise science evolves, individual needs differ, and equipment varies between gyms. The Developer makes no representation that the content is complete, error-free, or suitable for your particular situation, and disclaims any warranty regarding the results you may or may not obtain from following it. Recovery indicators shown by the App are general guidance based on the sessions you log, not a physiological measurement.
You are responsible for keeping your device safe while at the gym. Do not read the screen while a machine or weight is in motion, and do not place your device where it could fall, be struck, or interfere with equipment. The Developer is not responsible for any damage to or loss of your device.
Forma GYM, its code, design, interface, guides, illustrations, text, and brand are the property of Ingeniería.dev and are protected by Mexican and international intellectual property laws. Names of equipment manufacturers or gym chains, if mentioned, belong to their respective owners and are used only for identification. These Terms do not transfer any ownership to you — only a license to use the App. Your training log remains your property; the Developer has no access to it.
The App is provided "AS IS" and "AS AVAILABLE", without any express or implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement, accuracy of content, or uninterrupted operation.
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, the Developer shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, nor for any injury, health, physical, financial, personal, or property loss arising from your use of or inability to use the App, or from any exercise performed or not performed based on the App's content. The Developer's aggregate liability shall not exceed USD $50.
You agree to indemnify and hold the Developer harmless from any claims arising from: (a) your improper use of the App, (b) injury sustained while exercising, (c) your violation of these Terms, or (d) your violation of third-party rights.
We may suspend or terminate your license if you breach these Terms. You may terminate this license at any time by uninstalling the App.
We may update these Terms from time to time. The current version will always be published at this URL, along with the date of the update. Continued use of the App after an update constitutes your acceptance. Material changes will also be announced inside the App.
Apple Inc. is not a party to this agreement and is not responsible for the App or its content. In the event of a conflict between these Terms and Apple's Standard EULA, the terms more restrictive and applicable to Apple under the App Store Review Guidelines shall prevail.
These Terms are governed by the laws of the United Mexican States. Any dispute shall be submitted to the competent courts of Mexico City, and both parties expressly waive any other jurisdiction that might otherwise apply based on current or future domicile.
If any provision of these Terms is found to be invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions shall remain in full force and effect.
