The story behind Al Corte
Al Corte exists because the hardest part of a budget is the middle of the pay period.
Payday feels great. Then the days go by, the balance shrinks, and somewhere around the tenth you start doing mental math at the checkout: "If I buy this, will I make it to the fifteenth?" Budgeting apps want you to build spreadsheets, link your bank, and sort every transaction into twenty categories. Most people just want to know one thing.
So I built an app that answers exactly that question. You enter the money you have, your payday — twice a month or once a month — and your recurring charges. Every expense you log updates your daily allowance on the spot. No bank login, no account, no cloud: your numbers live only on your iPhone.

Paid twice a month or once a month
Choose a semi-monthly schedule with two cutoff days (for example, the 15th and the last day of the month) or a monthly schedule with a single payday.
Log expenses and income in seconds
Type the amount on the built-in keypad, record it as an expense or as money added, and optionally tag it with a category and a note. Undo is one tap away.
Subscriptions that charge themselves
Add your recurring charges — streaming, phone plan, gym — monthly or weekly. They are set aside from your available money and recorded automatically on their due date.
Multi-currency, including travel
Log movements in other currencies and see them converted to your base currency. Add a travel currency for your next trip, or set a manual exchange rate.
Nothing leaves your phone
No accounts, no bank connection, no analytics, no ads, no tracking. Your balance, movements, and subscriptions are stored only on your iPhone.
