This policy covers Webcam Security on Android and on iPhone. The practices are the same on both; where the operating system makes them differ, each section says so.

The app does not record audio and does not collect your location, contacts, identifiers, device information, usage analytics or crash reports. The camera image is analyzed on the phone to detect movement; frames that do not trigger an alert are discarded immediately and never saved. On iPhone, detection combines image differencing with person detection by Apple's Vision framework, and all of it runs on the device.
Webcam Security uses the camera only while surveillance is armed (including the exit countdown) or while you are looking at the live view. While it runs, Android shows a persistent notification saying the camera is active; the app never records covertly. You can stop it at any time by disarming with your PIN.
On iPhone: iOS does not allow apps to use the camera in the background, so the app must stay open in the foreground while it watches. iOS shows its green camera indicator the whole time the camera is in use. An optional stealth mode darkens the screen, but the camera never records hidden from the system: the indicator stays on.
Sending evidence to Telegram is optional and off until you complete the in-app setup, where you explicitly agree to it. When enabled:

Evidence is stored in the app's private storage, so it does not appear in the phone's photo gallery (Android) or in the Photos app (iPhone); the iPhone app never asks for access to your photo library. On Android, cloud backup of app data is disabled. On iPhone, the Telegram token is kept in the Keychain as “this device only”, so it is never moved to another device.
Because the developer holds no data about you, there is nothing for us to delete on a server.

The app also asks you to exclude it from battery optimization in Android settings; without that, the system may stop surveillance after a few hours.

The iPhone app does not ask for microphone, photo library, location or contacts access, and it has no background camera mode: iOS only allows the camera while the app is open in the foreground.
There is no advertising, no tracking and no third-party analytics or advertising SDKs in the app. We never sell or share data.
The app is intended for adults securing their own home or lodging. It is not directed at children under 13, and it does not knowingly process children's personal data.
You, as the user, decide where the phone records and are responsible for doing so lawfully: only in places you are entitled to monitor, never in bathrooms or private rooms of others, and informing guests, tenants, workers or visitors where your law requires it. See our Terms of Use.
The data described here lives on your phone and in your Telegram account, under your control, so you can access, correct or delete it directly as explained in section 6. For any questions about your rights, please email [email protected].
Evidence is kept in app-private storage; the Telegram token is encrypted with a key held by the Android Keystore that cannot be exported (Android) or stored in the iOS Keychain with “this device only” protection (iPhone); transmissions to Telegram use HTTPS; disarming requires your PIN. No system is perfectly secure: protect the phone with a screen lock as well.
The developer does not transfer your data anywhere. If you connect Telegram, Telegram processes your messages on its own infrastructure under its own policy.
Buying and downloading the app through Google Play is subject to Google's Privacy Policy. Google processes the payment; we never receive your card or payment details. From Google we only receive the transaction records needed for accounting, taxes and refunds (such as order number, date, country and price). Google does not receive your photos or videos from this app. The app's Data safety section on Google Play declares the same practices described here:

Buying and downloading the app through the App Store is subject to Apple's Privacy Policy. Apple processes the payment; we never receive your card or payment details, and Apple does not share your identity with us. All transfers are encrypted in transit (HTTPS). You can delete your data at any time as described in section 6.
If this policy changes, we will update the date at the top of this page and, for material changes, mention it in the app's release notes.
This Policy is governed by the laws of the United Mexican States, in particular the Federal Law on Protection of Personal Data Held by Private Parties (LFPDPPP). Any dispute will be submitted to the competent courts of Mexico City.
