Walkie-Talkie is an iOS application that turns nearby iPhones into a real-time voice radio over Apple's MultipeerConnectivity framework. The app does not require an account, has no In-App Purchases, no advertising, and no subscription.
You agree to use the app for lawful, non-malicious purposes. In particular, you agree not to:
Walkie-Talkie transmits voice directly between iPhones in range. We never receive, store, or moderate the content. You are solely responsible for the audio you transmit and for whom you choose to connect with.
If you are using the app with children, supervise their use the same way you would supervise any voice or messaging tool.
The app is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the app will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that it will work in any specific environment. Range and quality depend on your device hardware, the surrounding radio environment, and Apple's frameworks.
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Ingeniería.dev and Chris Flores shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising out of or related to your use of the app, regardless of the legal theory. Our aggregate liability for any claim shall not exceed the amount you paid us for the app — which, since Walkie-Talkie is free, is zero.
Walkie-Talkie is intended for casual use only. Do not rely on it as a substitute for emergency services (911, 112, 088, 066, etc.). The app's reliability depends on Bluetooth/Wi-Fi range, iPhone battery, and the willingness of nearby devices to participate. In a real emergency, dial your country's emergency number on the iPhone's native dialer.
We may publish updates to the app through the App Store. New versions may add, change, or remove features. We are not obligated to keep any specific feature working forever.
You can stop using the app at any time by deleting it. We may stop distributing the app at any time. Termination does not entitle you to any refund (the app is free).
These Terms of Use are governed by the laws of the United Mexican States. Any dispute arising out of or related to your use of the app shall be brought before the competent courts of Mexico City.
The full text of the Apple Standard EULA applies to your use of the app and is incorporated by reference. In case of conflict between these Terms of Use and the Standard EULA on a matter the Standard EULA specifically addresses (warranties, IP, jurisdiction over the licensed application), the Standard EULA controls. The clauses above add house-specific rules (acceptable use, emergency disclaimer, governing law).
