End User License Agreement (EULA) · Poison Check · Last updated: June 2, 2026 · Version 1.0
This agreement is entered into between you (the end user) and Ingeniería.dev, operated by Chris Flores, with its registered address at Av. Javier Barros Sierra 495, Santa Fe Lomas de Santa Fe Zedec Santa Fé, Álvaro Obregón 01219, Mexico City, CDMX, Mexico. Contact: christian@irack.mx.
Poison Check is an iOS application that scans food product labels with your device camera and returns an educational, science-based breakdown of their ingredients — including toxicity context, additive information, IARC classifications, and NOVA processing level — referencing recognized public sources such as IARC, NIH, FDA, EFSA, WHO, and EWG. The App is designed for general consumers who want to better understand the products they buy. It is informational and educational in nature.
We grant you a limited, personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use Poison Check on iOS devices you own or control, subject to these Terms and to Apple's Standard EULA.
Poison Check is free. The App contains no In-App Purchases, no subscriptions, no advertising, and no paid content. There is nothing to buy, nothing to cancel, and nothing to restore. Every feature is available from the first launch.
Poison Check does not require you to create an account or sign up. The App uses Apple App Attest only as a security measure to verify that requests to the analysis backend come from a genuine instance of the App. We do not manage passwords or login credentials, and App Attest does not identify you personally.
See our Privacy Policy. In short: scanned photos are sent to our analysis backend, processed, and discarded — never stored permanently; your scan history lives on your device; and we do not collect personal information, track you, or sell data.
The analysis may be incomplete or imperfect: label text can be misread, ingredient databases evolve, and scientific classifications are updated over time. The Developer does not guarantee the accuracy, completeness, or timeliness of any analysis result, and you use the information at your own discretion.
Poison Check, its code, design, interface, text, and brand are the property of Ingeniería.dev and are protected by Mexican and international intellectual property laws. Scientific classifications and data referenced in the App belong to their respective sources (IARC, NIH, FDA, EFSA, WHO, EWG, and others). These Terms do not transfer any ownership to you — only a license to use the App.
The App is provided "AS IS" and "AS AVAILABLE", without any express or implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement. We do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation, nor the accuracy of any ingredient analysis.
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, the Developer shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, nor for any health, dietary, or financial outcome arising from your use of or reliance on the App. Because the App is provided free of charge, the Developer's aggregate liability shall not exceed fifty US dollars (USD $50).
You agree to indemnify and hold the Developer harmless from any claims arising from: (a) your improper use of the App, (b) your violation of these Terms, or (c) your violation of third-party rights.
We may suspend or terminate your license if you breach these Terms. You may terminate this license at any time by uninstalling the App.
We may update these Terms from time to time. The current version will always be published at this URL, along with the date of the update. Continued use of the App after an update constitutes your acceptance. Material changes will also be announced inside the App.
Apple Inc. is not a party to this agreement and is not responsible for the App or its content. In the event of a conflict between these Terms and Apple's Standard EULA, the terms more restrictive and applicable to Apple under the App Store Review Guidelines shall prevail.
These Terms are governed by the laws of the United Mexican States. Any dispute shall be submitted to the competent courts of Mexico City, and both parties expressly waive any other jurisdiction that might otherwise apply based on current or future domicile.
If any provision of these Terms is found to be invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions shall remain in full force and effect.
