The story behind Poison Check

Poison Check started in a supermarket aisle, squinting at a label I couldn't decode.

An ingredient list the length of my arm, half of it words I'd never seen, and no way to know which ones actually mattered. Was that preservative fine? Was that dye banned somewhere? I'd pull out my phone, search one additive at a time, and give up before I reached the third line.

So I built the tool I wanted standing there: scan the label, get a plain-language read on every ingredient — toxicity flags, IARC classifications, how ultra-processed it is — with the actual scientific source behind each claim. Not fear, not hype. Just the information, so you decide.
