This agreement is entered into between you (the end user) and Ingeniería.dev, operated by Chris Flores, with its registered address at Av. Javier Barros Sierra 495, Santa Fe Lomas de Santa Fe Zedec Santa Fé, Álvaro Obregón 01219, Mexico City, CDMX, Mexico. Contact: [email protected].
Mamá Primeriza is an iOS application that provides general educational information for first-time mothers, covering pregnancy through the baby's first year. It presents short guidance cards, warning signs to watch for, checklists, and suggested questions to bring to a medical appointment. Each card cites the official health organization its content is based on.
The entire content catalog ships inside the app bundle, so the App works fully offline. It requires no account and no internet connection, and it makes no network requests. Optionally, you may enter your first name, your date of birth, your estimated due date, and your baby's name and date of birth so the guide can follow your week; all of this stays on your device.
We grant you a limited, personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use Mamá Primeriza on iOS devices you own or control, subject to these Terms and to Apple's Standard EULA.
Mamá Primeriza is free. The App contains no In-App Purchases, no subscriptions, no advertising, and no paid content. There is nothing to buy, nothing to cancel, and nothing to restore.
Mamá Primeriza does not require you to create an account or sign up. The App works immediately after installation without any login, email, or personal identifier.
See our Privacy Policy. In short: the App collects nothing and has no network layer. Anything you choose to enter — your name, your dates, your baby's details, your favorites, checklists, and appointment notes — is stored only on your device, is never transmitted, and can be erased at any time using the "Delete all my data" option inside the App.
Using the App does not create a doctor–patient relationship, a midwife–patient relationship, or any other professional health care relationship between you and the Developer. The Developer is not a physician and does not practice medicine.
The content is based on publicly available material published by official health organizations, including the World Health Organization (WHO), the U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), the American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists (ACOG), the American Academy of Pediatrics (AAP), Mexico's Secretaría de Salud, and Brazil's Ministério da Saúde. Each card names its source so you can verify it. However:
If you notice any warning sign, or if anything about your pregnancy or your baby worries you, contact your doctor or midwife without delay. In an emergency, call your local emergency services immediately. Never delay seeking professional care, and never disregard professional advice, because of something you read in the App.
The emergency numbers shown in the App are provided for convenience only. You are responsible for confirming the correct emergency number for your location. The Developer makes no representation that the App's content is complete, current, or clinically applicable to your case, and disclaims any warranty of medical usefulness.
The notes and checklists in the App are a personal memory aid to help you prepare for a consultation. They are not a medical record, they are not reviewed by any health professional, and they must not be used as a symptom diary for clinical decisions. They are stored only on your device; if you lose or reset your iPhone, or uninstall the App, they are lost with it. The Developer holds no copy and cannot recover them.
The App is distributed through the App Store and works offline. Content corrections and updates are delivered through new App versions; to receive them you must install the update. The Developer does not guarantee that a given version will remain aligned with the most recent guidance published by any health organization.
Mamá Primeriza, its code, design, interface, editorial text, and brand are the property of Ingeniería.dev and are protected by Mexican and international intellectual property laws. These Terms do not transfer any ownership to you — only a license to use the App. Material published by the cited health organizations remains the property of those organizations and is referenced with attribution. Any notes you write remain yours; the Developer has no access to them.
The App is provided "AS IS" and "AS AVAILABLE", without any express or implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement, clinical accuracy, completeness, or uninterrupted operation.
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, the Developer shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, nor for any health, financial, personal, or property loss arising from your use of or inability to use the App, or from any action taken or not taken based on the App's content. The Developer's aggregate liability shall not exceed USD $50. Nothing in these Terms excludes liability that cannot be excluded under applicable law.
You agree to indemnify and hold the Developer harmless from any claims arising from: (a) your improper use of the App, (b) your use of the App's content to advise or treat another person, (c) your violation of these Terms, or (d) your violation of third-party rights.
We may suspend or terminate your license if you breach these Terms. You may terminate this license at any time by uninstalling the App.
We may update these Terms from time to time. The current version will always be published at this URL, along with the date of the update. Continued use of the App after an update constitutes your acceptance. Material changes will also be announced inside the App.
Apple Inc. is not a party to this agreement and is not responsible for the App or its content. In the event of a conflict between these Terms and Apple's Standard EULA, the terms more restrictive and applicable to Apple under the App Store Review Guidelines shall prevail.
These Terms are governed by the laws of the United Mexican States. Any dispute shall be submitted to the competent courts of Mexico City, and both parties expressly waive any other jurisdiction that might otherwise apply based on current or future domicile.
If any provision of these Terms is found to be invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions shall remain in full force and effect.
