Open the app and swipe left on any quote card to browse through the daily feed. Each time you open the app or refresh manually, new quotes from our backend appear. Tap any quote to expand it and read the full text with attribution.

Tap the heart icon on a quote card to mark it as a favorite. Your favorites are saved locally on your device and appear in the "Favorites" tab. You can delete any favorite by tapping the heart icon again.

Open Settings (the gear icon). Select your preferred language: English, Español (Spanish), or Português (Portuguese). The app will refresh and display quotes and UI in your chosen language.

Yes. In Settings, toggle "Daily Reminder" on. You will receive a local notification when new quotes are available each day. You control the notification time from the iOS Notifications settings.

Go to Settings > Inspirational Quotes > Notifications and toggle off. Or use iOS Settings > Notifications > Inspirational Quotes and disable the notification permission.

No. Your favorites live entirely on your device using local storage (SwiftData). We never upload them to any server, and we never have access to what you save. They're 100% yours.

No. Inspirational Quotes does not send any data about which quotes you read, what you favorite, or when you use the app. We do not use analytics, advertising trackers, or any data collection tools. Your reading is completely private.

Inspirational Quotes requires iOS 18 or later. Make sure your iPhone is running the latest version of iOS for the best experience.

Inspirational Quotes is optimized for iPhone. It works on iPhone 12 and newer (iOS 18+). The app is not available for iPad.

Try force-quitting the app: swipe up from the bottom of your home screen, pause, and swipe up on Inspirational Quotes. Then reopen it. If the crash persists, reinstall the app by deleting it and downloading it fresh from the App Store.

Pull to refresh (drag down on the quote feed) to load the latest quotes. Make sure you have an active internet connection. If you still don't see new quotes, try closing and reopening the app.

Check that notifications are enabled: Settings > Inspirational Quotes > Notifications > Allow Notifications (toggle on). Also verify that the Daily Reminder is toggled on inside the app (gear icon > Daily Reminder).

Your favorites are stored on your device. They will only disappear if you uninstall the app or manually delete them. If you recently reinstalled the app, you will need to re-mark your favorites (they don't sync across devices or backups).
