BP Lens (hereinafter, "BP Lens" or "the App") is developed and operated by Ingeniería.dev, led by Christian Irack (hereinafter, "we", "the Developer"), who is the controller of the data described in this policy.
The App is designed to work without knowing who you are. It:
Beyond reading your photos, what the App collects is limited to usage and diagnostics data that is not linked to your identity, through our own first-party analytics. Section 7 lists exactly what that includes — and what it never includes.
Your health information lives on your iPhone:

Your photos are never saved. They are held in memory only while they are being read and are released right after. If you have iCloud Backup turned on, iOS includes the App's data in your backups, under your Apple account; the App itself does not use iCloud sync. Deleting the App removes everything stored on your device permanently and irreversibly.
Before your first analysis, the App shows exactly what will happen and asks for your explicit consent. If you prefer, you can decline and enter your readings by hand: every feature works without photos.
Photo reading has a monthly limit per device, so the service stays available for everyone. To apply it without an account:
Report notices are optional. iOS asks for notification permission only when you turn them on from the Report screen.
To prepare a new report every 3 days, the App may also use iOS Background App Refresh. That work happens on your iPhone and sends nothing.
We use our own first-party analytics to understand how BP Lens is used: screens visited, interactions, performance and technical errors, plus technical device data, language and approximate city-level location (we do not store your IP address). The App has no sign-in, so this information is never linked to an account or to your identity. We do not sell or share this data with third parties or use it for advertising. Data is kept for up to 13 months. You can request deletion by emailing [email protected].
Analytics never include your blood pressure or pulse values, categories, levels or report verdicts, your health profile, your photos, your name, email or phone number. The App's analytics events are a fixed list in its code, so a health value cannot be sent by mistake.
The analytics service runs at analytics.ingenieria.dev, on a server operated by the Developer. No third-party analytics company receives this data. We use it only to improve the App — for example, to learn which steps of the photo flow work best, and to find and fix crashes. For users in the European Union, the United Kingdom and Switzerland, the legal basis is our legitimate interest in keeping the App working and improving it; you can object at any time by emailing us.
The pages at legal.ingenieria.dev/bp-lens/ use the same first-party analytics to count visits and clicks on the download button. They set no cookies; a random identifier is kept in your browser's local storage, which you can clear at any time from your browser settings.
BP Lens is a paid download with no In-App Purchases. The purchase is processed exclusively by Apple through your Apple ID. Apple acts as the payment processor: we never receive your name, email, payment card, billing address, or any other payment data. Apple's handling of your data is governed by Apple's Privacy Policy.
The App talks to only three services: our reading server (Sections 4 and 5), which uses Anthropic to read the photos; our analytics server (Section 7); and Apple's services, including App Attest. There is no other server behind the App.
Some buttons hand off to another app or website. These are always initiated by you and are governed by that provider's own privacy policy — not ours:
The App can request two permissions, and both are optional:
The App does not request access to: your full photo library, location, microphone, contacts, calendar, reminders, Apple Health, motion data, Bluetooth, or biometric data.
Blood pressure readings and your optional profile are sensitive health information. That is why they stay on your iPhone, why photos are sent only with your consent and are not kept, and why our analytics never include any health value. The categories and report levels shown by the App are informational, based on the 2017 ACC/AHA guideline (Whelton PK, et al. Hypertension. 2018;71:e13–e115, doi:10.1161/HYP.0000000000000065). They are not a diagnosis. Please read the medical disclaimer in our Terms of Use.
The App displays no ads. We do not use data for remarketing, profiling, or advertising. We do not participate in ad networks, and we do not sell, rent, or share information with third parties.
BP Lens is intended for adults (18 or older) and is not directed at children. It requires no registration and collects no personal information that identifies a person.
You have the right to access, rectify, delete, and object to the processing of your data. Here is how each one works in this App:

Local data is stored inside the iOS sandbox, protected by the operating system and by device-level disk encryption (Apple's Data Protection API). No other app can read it. When the App goes to the background, it covers its screen so the app switcher does not show your numbers. Photos travel to our server over HTTPS, requests are verified with Apple's App Attest, the server keeps identifiers only as salted hashes, and purchases are handled end to end by Apple.
Our reading server and our analytics service are operated by the Developer and hosted in the United States; analytics traffic passes through Cloudflare's network. Photos you choose to analyze are processed by Anthropic, also in the United States. This data is protected in transit with HTTPS, is not linked to your identity, and is never shared with third parties beyond what is described in this policy. Purchases are processed by Apple under its own privacy policy.
We may update this Privacy Policy to reflect changes to the App or to applicable law. The current version will always be published at this URL along with the date of the last update. Material changes will also be announced inside the App.
This Policy is governed by the laws of the United Mexican States, in particular the Federal Law on Protection of Personal Data Held by Private Parties (LFPDPPP), without prejudice to the mandatory rights you have under the data protection laws of your country of residence. Any dispute will be submitted to the competent courts of Mexico City.

Tus registros se quedan en tu iPhone. Las mediciones, los informes y tu perfil de salud opcional (edad, peso, estatura, ejercicio, condiciones) se guardan solo en tu iPhone y, si tienes activadas las copias de seguridad de iCloud, en esas copias (bajo tu cuenta de Apple). Tu perfil nunca se envía a nuestro servidor ni a la IA.
Fotos y lectura con IA (solo si lo aceptas). Antes del primer análisis te pedimos tu consentimiento explícito:
Identificador del dispositivo. La app crea un identificador aleatorio (guardado en el llavero del iPhone) para contar tu límite mensual de análisis y verificar con App Attest de Apple que la petición viene de la app. El servidor solo guarda una versión cifrada (hash con sal) de ese identificador, junto con un registro técnico de cada análisis que nunca incluye tus cifras ni tus fotos. No es tu identificador de publicidad.
Analítica propia (AIAnalytics). Medimos el uso de la app — pantallas visitadas, botones, si un análisis salió bien o falló (con un código genérico), tiempos, fallos y rendimiento — con un identificador anónimo, junto con datos técnicos del dispositivo, idioma y ubicación aproximada a nivel ciudad (no guardamos tu dirección IP). Nunca enviamos cifras de presión, categorías, veredictos, perfil ni fotos a la analítica. No hay publicidad, no hay rastreo entre apps ni sitios (sin ATT) y no vendemos datos. Se conserva hasta 13 meses; puedes pedir su eliminación escribiendo a [email protected].
Avisos. Si activas el aviso de informes, el iPhone muestra una notificación local genérica («Tu informe está listo»); no sale de tu dispositivo.
Conservación y borrado. Borra un registro desde Historial, tu perfil desde Mi perfil de salud (también se borra de tus informes anteriores) o todo al eliminar la app. Para cualquier solicitud sobre datos del servidor, escríbenos.

Medimos o uso do app — telas, botões, se uma análise deu certo ou falhou (com um código genérico), tempos, falhas e desempenho — com um identificador anônimo, junto com dados técnicos do dispositivo, idioma e localização aproximada em nível de cidade (não guardamos o seu endereço IP). Nunca enviamos números de pressão, categorias, vereditos, perfil ou fotos para a analítica. Sem anúncios, sem rastreamento entre apps ou sites (sem ATT), e não vendemos dados. Os dados são mantidos por até 13 meses; você pode pedir a exclusão escrevendo para [email protected].
Avisos. Se você ativar o aviso de relatórios, o iPhone mostra uma notificação local genérica («Seu relatório está pronto»); ela não sai do seu dispositivo.
Retenção e exclusão. Apague um registro no Histórico, seu perfil em Meu perfil de saúde (ele também é apagado dos relatórios anteriores) ou tudo ao excluir o app. Para qualquer solicitação sobre dados do servidor, escreva para nós.
Idade: o BP Lens é para adultos (18 anos ou mais).
