Some stories only work at night, with the lights low and the ending one more page away.
Umbral — Spanish for threshold — gathers ten of them, set across Latin America: a tarot deck in Oaxaca whose cards stay blank until someone has already decided, a lighthouse lit every night in the middle of the Sonoran Desert, a train in the Peruvian mountains that arrives a minute early, a healer in an Ecuadorian fishing village who finds forgotten names. Each one is short enough to finish in a single sitting.
No one lived these stories: they were imagined with artificial intelligence, and the app says so from the first welcome screen to the top of the Library. The books come inside the app, so they need no connection, no account and no ads. Made in Mexico by Christian Irack at Ingeniería.dev.
