End User License Agreement (EULA) · Stream Deck · Last updated: April 23, 2026 · Version 1.0
This agreement is entered into between you (the end user) and Ingeniería.dev, operated by Chris Flores, with its registered address at Av. Javier Barros Sierra 495, Santa Fe Lomas de Santa Fe Zedec Santa Fé, Álvaro Obregón 01219, Mexico City, CDMX, Mexico. Contact: christian@irack.mx.
Stream Deck is a macOS menu bar application that lets you turn any Mac action — opening an app, a URL, a file, running a shell script, triggering a keyboard shortcut, or jumping to a System Settings panel — into a configurable button accessible from the menu bar and from a draggable floating tab on the edge of your screen. The App is designed for developers, creators, and anyone who wants to reduce the friction of repetitive workflows on macOS.
We grant you a limited, personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use Stream Deck on Mac computers you own or control, subject to these Terms and to Apple's Standard EULA.
Stream Deck is a paid app with a one-time purchase of $4.99 USD (pricing may vary per country according to the Apple App Store tier matrix). There are no subscriptions, no auto-renewals, no in-app purchases, and no premium tiers. Every feature of the App is unlocked from the first launch.
The purchase is processed exclusively by Apple through your Apple ID using StoreKit. Apple acts as the payment processor; we never have access to your payment card, billing address, or any other payment data.
Because the purchase is a one-time transaction, there is nothing to cancel. You will not be billed again. The App does not auto-renew. The App has no billing cycle.
If you reinstall the App on the same Mac or install it on a new Mac signed into the same Apple ID, the Mac App Store automatically recognizes the purchase — no action is required. If prompted to re-download, use the Mac App Store's Purchased tab.
Stream Deck supports Family Sharing. If you have Family Sharing enabled on your Apple ID, members of your family can install and use the App on their own Mac without paying again. Configure Family Sharing in System Settings → Apple ID → Family Sharing or follow Apple's guide: support.apple.com/en-us/108380.
All refunds are handled by Apple, not by the Developer. To request a refund, visit reportaproblem.apple.com, sign in with your Apple ID, locate the Stream Deck purchase, and follow the refund flow. Apple applies its own refund policies.
Your Apple ID payment method is managed at account.apple.com or in System Settings → Apple ID → Payment & Shipping. Apple's guide: support.apple.com/en-us/118429.
Stream Deck does not require you to create an account or sign up. No login credentials are managed by the App or the Developer. The App operates entirely on your local Mac without any server-side identity.
See our Privacy Policy. In short: every button, action, custom image, and setting lives on your Mac only. We do not collect or transmit any personal information. The only network request the App ever makes is fetching a website's favicon when you configure a URL button.
Stream Deck may request the following macOS system permissions, each tied to a specific button type:
Both permissions are used exclusively on your device and are described in detail in the Privacy Policy. You remain in full control of these permissions via System Settings → Privacy & Security.
Buttons configured to run a shell script are restricted to a whitelist of safe commands: open, osascript, defaults, say, pmset, caffeinate, pbcopy, pbpaste, afplay. Pipes, command chaining, and arbitrary shell are not allowed. You are solely responsible for any script you configure within that whitelist, and for the consequences of running it on your Mac.
You alone decide what each button does: which URL to open, which app to launch, which file to reveal, which keyboard shortcut to send, and which System Settings panel to jump to. The App is a neutral execution tool and the Developer exercises no control over, and assumes no responsibility for, the actions you configure or their downstream effects in other apps or websites.
Stream Deck, its code, design, interface, text, and brand are the property of Ingeniería.dev and are protected by Mexican and international intellectual property laws. These Terms do not transfer any ownership to you — only a license to use the App. The name "Stream Deck" as used for this macOS application is applied descriptively to refer to a virtual control deck; it does not claim affiliation with Elgato Stream Deck hardware products, which are trademarks of their respective owners.
The App is provided "AS IS" and "AS AVAILABLE", without any express or implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement. We do not guarantee uninterrupted, error-free, or lossless operation. Keyboard shortcuts and scripts run at your risk; we recommend testing button configurations before relying on them for critical workflows.
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, the Developer shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of or inability to use the App, including but not limited to loss of data, unintended side effects of scripts you configured, or disruption of other apps. Because the App is a low-cost one-time purchase, the Developer's aggregate liability shall not exceed the price you paid for the App.
You agree to indemnify and hold the Developer harmless from any claims arising from: (a) your improper use of the App, (b) your violation of these Terms, (c) scripts or keyboard shortcuts you configured that violated third-party terms or applicable law, or (d) your violation of applicable law.
We may suspend or terminate your license if you breach these Terms. You may terminate this license at any time by uninstalling the App. Because the purchase is a one-time transaction processed by Apple, termination of this license does not entitle you to a refund from the Developer; refund requests are handled by Apple under section 4.6.
We may update these Terms from time to time. The current version will always be published at this URL, along with the date of the update. Continued use of the App after an update constitutes your acceptance. Material changes will be announced in the Mac App Store release notes.
Apple Inc. is not a party to this agreement and is not responsible for the App or its content. Apple is responsible for processing the purchase and for handling refunds per its own policies. In the event of a conflict between these Terms and Apple's Standard EULA, Apple's Standard EULA shall prevail as required by the App Store Review Guidelines.
These Terms are governed by the laws of the United Mexican States. Any dispute shall be submitted to the competent courts of Mexico City, and both parties expressly waive any other jurisdiction that might otherwise apply.
If any provision of these Terms is found to be invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions shall remain in full force and effect.
