Content Moderation Policy
Every track in spotAI Music is music that somebody generated with AI and chose to publish. This page states plainly how that catalog is kept in order, and what you can do when something in it does not belong.
1. Nothing is published automatically
Every upload enters the catalog with the status pending and is not reachable from the app. A human reviews it and either approves or rejects it. Only approved tracks are served. A rejected track is never playable, and its audio file stays unreachable even to somebody who guesses its address.
This is a filter before publication, not a cleanup afterwards.
2. What is not allowed
- Music you did not generate, or that reproduces someone else's recording.
- Lyrics or titles that harass, threaten, or attack a person or a group.
- Sexual content involving minors, or any content that sexualises a real person without consent.
- Impersonating a real artist, band, or voice in a way that misleads a listener.
- Content that is illegal where it is published.
3. Reporting something
Every track in the app carries a Report action. You do not need an account to use it — reporting works while listening as a guest. Pick a reason, add a note if you want, and it reaches the review queue.
You can also write to [email protected] with the track and the reason.
4. Blocking an artist
If you would rather not hear from someone again, you can block that artist from the app. Their tracks disappear from your catalog — browse, search, and favorites — and it is reversible at any time from the app.
5. What happens after a report
Reports are triaged and acted on within 24 hours. A track that breaks the rules above is removed from the catalog and stops being playable immediately. Repeated or severe violations cost the account its ability to publish.
If your own work was removed and you think that was a mistake, reply to the notice or write to the address above: a person reads it.
6. Content generated with AI
The whole catalog is AI-generated by design, and each track records the engine that made it. That does not lower the bar — it raises it: a model can produce a lyric nobody deliberately wrote, which is exactly why approval here is human and not automatic.
