This agreement is entered into between you (the end user) and Ingeniería.dev, operated by Chris Flores, with its registered address at Av. Javier Barros Sierra 495, Santa Fe Lomas de Santa Fe Zedec Santa Fé, Álvaro Obregón 01219, Mexico City, CDMX, Mexico. Contact: christian@irack.mx.
Look & Talk is an iOS assistive application designed for blind and low-vision users. It performs on-device optical character recognition (OCR), scene description, live magnification, and color identification using Apple's Vision and FoundationModels frameworks. The App stores all data locally, requires no account, makes no network requests for its core features, and integrates natively with VoiceOver.
We grant you a limited, personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use Look & Talk on iOS devices you own or control, subject to these Terms and to Apple's Standard EULA.
Look & Talk is free. The App contains no In-App Purchases, no subscriptions, no advertising, and no paid content. There is nothing to buy, nothing to cancel, and nothing to restore. The App is offered as a permanent free assistive tool for the blind and low-vision community.
Look & Talk does not require you to create an account or sign up. The App works immediately after installation without any login, email, or personal identifier.
See our Privacy Policy. In short: all camera frames, OCR results, scene descriptions, color identifications, and History entries live on your device; we do not collect or transmit personal information, and the App does not call any third-party AI provider.
For critical decisions — reading a medication dose, signing a legal document, identifying a financial amount, navigating traffic, recognizing a hazard, or any decision where an error could harm you or others — please verify the result with a sighted assistant, a certified orientation and mobility specialist, or a clinical tool. The App is not intended to diagnose, treat, cure, or prevent any disease, and it is not a substitute for professional orientation and mobility training.
The Developer makes no representation that the App's output is clinically, legally, or financially accurate and disclaims any warranty of fitness for any specific assistive use case.
Look & Talk captures camera frames and processes imported photos to perform OCR, scene description, magnification, and color recognition. You are responsible for:
The Developer is not responsible for how you use the camera and recognition features.
Live OCR, scene description, and magnification require continuous camera access and on-device ML inference. Sustained use will consume battery faster than typical iPhone usage. The Developer is not responsible for battery wear, reduced battery life, or any hardware effect caused by extended use of the App.
Look & Talk, its code, design, interface, text, and brand are the property of Ingeniería.dev and are protected by Mexican and international intellectual property laws. These Terms do not transfer any ownership to you — only a license to use the App. Any text, scene description, or color name produced from your camera or photos remains your property; the Developer has no access to it.
The App is provided "AS IS" and "AS AVAILABLE", without any express or implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement, recognition accuracy, accessibility for any specific user, or uninterrupted operation.
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, the Developer shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, nor for any health, financial, personal, or property loss arising from your use of or inability to use the App, or from any action taken or not taken based on the App's output. The Developer's aggregate liability shall not exceed USD $50.
You agree to indemnify and hold the Developer harmless from any claims arising from: (a) your improper use of the App, (b) capturing images of others without proper consent, (c) your violation of these Terms, or (d) your violation of third-party rights.
We may suspend or terminate your license if you breach these Terms. You may terminate this license at any time by uninstalling the App.
We may update these Terms from time to time. The current version will always be published at this URL, along with the date of the update. Continued use of the App after an update constitutes your acceptance. Material changes will also be announced inside the App.
Apple Inc. is not a party to this agreement and is not responsible for the App or its content. In the event of a conflict between these Terms and Apple's Standard EULA, the terms more restrictive and applicable to Apple under the App Store Review Guidelines shall prevail.
These Terms are governed by the laws of the United Mexican States. Any dispute shall be submitted to the competent courts of Mexico City, and both parties expressly waive any other jurisdiction that might otherwise apply based on current or future domicile.
If any provision of these Terms is found to be invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions shall remain in full force and effect.
