After a few short welcome screens with your pixel pet, the App opens on your notes list. During the welcome screens you'll see Sync with iCloud, which is on by default — leave it on to keep your notes in step with your Mac, or turn it off to keep notes only on this iPhone. No permissions are requested; the App works right away.

The App has three tabs: Notes, Settings, and About. On your Home Screen it appears as Float Notes.

1. Tap the compose button at the bottom-right of the Notes list
2. Start typing. The first line becomes the note's name unless you add a title
3. There is no Save button — every change saves itself as you type, and again when you leave the note or switch apps
4. Go back to the list whenever you're done

• Checklist: tap the checklist icon in the note's toolbar to insert a ☐ item. Press Return to continue the list; tap a box to tick it ☑.
• Color: tap the palette icon and pick a pastel background.
• Pin: tap the pin icon in the note, or swipe right on a note in the list, to keep it above the rest.

In the Notes list, tap the Search field and type. Matching notes appear as you type, searching both titles and text.

• Share: open the note, tap the ⋯ button, and choose Share. The standard iOS share sheet lets you send the text to Messages, Mail, Files, or any other app, or copy it.
• Delete: tap ⋯ → Delete inside the note, or swipe left on it in the list. The App asks for confirmation first.

With iCloud sync on, a deleted note is also removed from your other synced devices.

The Status row shows whether sync is on, syncing, paused, or waiting for you to sign in to iCloud. Turning sync off keeps all your notes on this iPhone.

On iPhone your pet doesn't float over other apps — it keeps you company on the welcome screens and in an empty list.

The App switches language immediately. Your choice is stored on your iPhone.

Float Notes Pro Pocket is a one-time purchase of $9.99 USD (pricing may vary per country according to Apple's App Store price tiers). There are no subscriptions, no in-app purchases, no premium tiers, and no ads. Pay once, keep forever.

No. Float Notes Pro Pocket (iPhone) and Float Notes Pro (Mac) are separate apps, each sold as a one-time purchase on its own App Store. You don't need the Mac app to use the iPhone app; if you have both, iCloud sync keeps your notes in step between them.

If you reinstall Float Notes Pro Pocket or install it on a new iPhone signed into the same Apple ID, the App Store recognizes the purchase — there is nothing to restore inside the App.

2. Tap your account picture at the top-right, then Purchased
3. Find Float Notes Pro Pocket and tap the download icon

If the App Store asks you to pay again, check that you are signed in with the same Apple ID used for the original purchase. With iCloud sync on, your notes come back from your iCloud after reinstalling.

Refunds are handled by Apple, not by the Developer. To request one:

1. Visit reportaproblem.apple.com
2. Sign in with your Apple ID
3. Locate the Float Notes Pro Pocket purchase and choose Report a Problem
4. Pick a reason and submit the form

Float Notes Pro Pocket supports Family Sharing. If you have Family Sharing set up on your Apple ID with purchase sharing turned on, members of your family can install Float Notes Pro Pocket on their own iPhone without paying again.

3. Family members can then install Float Notes Pro Pocket from their purchased apps in the App Store

No. Float Notes Pro Pocket is a one-time purchase, not a subscription. Nothing auto-renews, nothing gets billed again, and there is nothing to cancel.

No. Your notes and settings live on your iPhone, inside the App's sandbox. While iCloud sync is on (the default), notes also go to your own private iCloud database, which we cannot access. Float Notes Pro Pocket has no account and no backend of its own. There are no analytics, no crash reporters, and no third-party SDKs. See our Privacy Policy.

Both apps use the same private iCloud storage. To sync:

1. Sign in to iCloud with the same Apple Account on your iPhone and your Mac
2. On iPhone, keep Settings → iCloud → Sync with iCloud on (it's on by default)
3. On the Mac, turn on iCloud sync in Float Notes Pro's Settings → iCloud

Changes usually appear within seconds to a few minutes. The first sync of many notes can take longer; keeping the App open helps.

1. Check the Status row in Settings → iCloud inside the App
2. Make sure you are signed in to iCloud in Settings → [your name], with the same Apple Account on every device
3. Check that your iCloud storage isn't full
4. Open the App on both devices and wait a moment — sync pauses on its own when the network is unavailable and retries by itself

The App keeps no backups of its own on your iPhone. Your notes are included in your regular iCloud or computer backup of your iPhone. iCloud sync keeps a copy in your iCloud too, but sync mirrors your changes — a note deleted on one device is deleted everywhere — so it isn't a substitute for a backup. Use Share to keep a copy of anything important.

iOS removes the App's data from your iPhone, including notes and preferences. Notes already synced to iCloud stay in your iCloud account and come back if you reinstall with sync on. To delete them from iCloud too, delete them from another synced device (for example, Float Notes Pro on your Mac) or manage your iCloud storage in Settings → [your name] → iCloud.

It doesn't need any. The App doesn't send notifications, so it never asks for that permission; the silent iCloud signals that tell it a note changed on another device don't require one. It never needs your contacts, photos, camera, microphone, or location.

No. iOS doesn't allow apps to float over other apps, so on iPhone your pet is decorative: it greets you on the welcome screens and keeps you company when the list is empty. You can pick a different pet in the Settings tab.
