One-line summary Float Notes Pro Pocket collects no data at all. Your notes and settings stay on your iPhone, inside the App's private sandbox. iCloud sync is on by default: your notes also travel to your own private iCloud database, which only your Apple Account can read — never to us. You can turn sync off during onboarding or at any time in Settings. The App has no account of its own, requests no system permissions, and contains no analytics, advertising, crash-reporting, or other third-party SDKs.

1. Who we are

Float Notes Pro Pocket (hereinafter, "the App") is developed and operated by Ingeniería.dev, led by Chris Flores (hereinafter, "we", "the Developer").

2. What data we collect

None. Float Notes Pro Pocket was built with privacy by default. The App:

Does not require registration, an account, or a login
Does not ask for your email, name, phone number, or any personally identifiable information
Does not access your contacts, microphone, camera, photo library, location, calendar, reminders, or health data
Does not request any iOS permission, including notifications
Does not include any SDKs for analytics, advertising, crash reporting, or behavioral tracking
Does not send telemetry, usage metrics, or the content of your notes to the Developer or to anyone else
Does not have a backend of its own — there is no Ingeniería.dev server behind this app
iCloud sync (on by default, and you can turn it off) stores your notes in your private iCloud database; the Developer cannot see, access, or receive them

The App's App Store privacy label is "Data Not Collected".

3. What is stored on your iPhone and in your iCloud

The App stores the following data locally, all of it confined to the App's private iOS sandbox, plus your own private iCloud database while sync is on:

This data is never sent to the Developer or to anyone else. The App keeps no backups of its own on your iPhone; your notes are covered by your regular iCloud or computer backup of your iPhone.

If you delete the App, iOS removes its sandbox, including the notes and preferences stored on your iPhone. Notes already synced to iCloud stay in your iCloud account until you delete them there — from another synced device (for example, Float Notes Pro on your Mac) or in Settings → [your name] → iCloud. Share any note you want to keep elsewhere before deleting the App (see section 6).

4. External services

4.1 Network activity

With iCloud sync on (the default), the only connection is iOS's own iCloud service syncing your notes with your private iCloud database, encrypted in transit and at rest by Apple. Apple may also deliver silent background notifications that simply tell the App a note changed on another device; they carry no note content, show nothing on screen, and need no permission. With iCloud sync off, Float Notes Pro Pocket makes no network requests. The App calls no other APIs, uses no analytics providers, joins no ad networks, has no crash reporter, and has no update service of its own. All app updates are distributed through the App Store. The only time a web page opens is when you tap a link in the App (such as this Privacy Policy, Support, or the App Store review page).

4.2 Apple and the App Store

The $9.99 USD one-time purchase is processed exclusively by Apple through your Apple ID on the App Store. The App contains no in-app purchases. Apple acts as the payment processor; we never have access to your payment card, billing address, or any payment data. See Apple's Privacy Policy.

5. System permissions

Float Notes Pro Pocket requests no iOS privacy permissions. It does not ask for notifications, contacts, photos, camera, microphone, location, tracking (App Tracking Transparency), or any other protected resource.

Capability	How it works	Data transmitted?
iCloud sync	Uses your Apple Account's iCloud through Apple's CloudKit framework. On by default; turn it off in the onboarding or in Settings → iCloud inside the App. Turning it off keeps your notes on this iPhone.	Only to your private iCloud database, never to the Developer.
Background sync signals	Silent CloudKit notifications wake the App briefly so a note changed on your Mac appears on your iPhone. They never show alerts or sounds, so no notification permission is requested.	No note content — only a "something changed" signal from Apple.
Share a note	When you tap Share, iOS shows its standard share sheet with the note's text. You choose where it goes (Messages, Mail, Files, and so on); the App does not see or track your choice.	Only where you decide to send it.

6. Sharing your notes

You can share any note as plain text at any time using the iOS share sheet — for example, to save it in Files, send it by Mail or Messages, or copy it. Once shared, that copy is governed by the app or service you chose; the App does not track it.

7. Marketing and advertising

The App displays no ads. We do not collect data for remarketing, profiling, or any promotional purpose. We do not participate in ad networks, and we do not sell or share information with third parties.

8. Purchase and in-app purchases

Float Notes Pro Pocket is a paid app on the App Store: a one-time purchase of $9.99 USD. There are no subscriptions, no in-app purchases, and no premium tiers. Payment processing is described in section 4.2 above.

9. Minors

The App is suitable for all ages. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone, including minors. Because the App requires no registration and collects no data, it complies with COPPA (US), LGPD (Brazil), and GDPR (EU) requirements regarding children by design.

10. User rights (GDPR, CCPA, LGPD, LFPDPPP)

Even though we collect no data, the following rights are guaranteed by design:

Right to access: All data lives on your iPhone and in your own iCloud, and is directly accessible to you in the App.
Right to rectification: You can edit any note or preference at any time.
Right to erasure: Delete any note in the App (with iCloud sync on, it is also deleted from your iCloud and your other synced devices), or delete the App to remove all local notes and preferences.
Right to portability: Share any note as plain text whenever you want.
Right not to be subject to automated decisions: The App does not use algorithmic profiling.

11. Security

The App runs inside the iOS app sandbox, which restricts its access to its own container. Local data is protected by iOS Data Protection, which encrypts it with your device passcode. With iCloud sync on, Apple encrypts your notes in transit and at rest in iCloud; with Advanced Data Protection enabled on your Apple Account, iCloud data is end-to-end encrypted. With iCloud sync off, nothing is transmitted.

12. International transfers

We do not perform international transfers of personal data because we do not collect, receive, or store personal data on any server. While iCloud sync is on, your notes are stored by Apple under your iCloud agreement and Apple's Privacy Policy.

13. Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy to reflect changes to the App or to applicable law. The current version will always be published at this URL, along with the date of the last update. Material changes will also be announced in the App Store release notes.

14. Governing law

This Policy is governed by the laws of the United Mexican States, in particular the Federal Law on Protection of Personal Data Held by Private Parties (LFPDPPP). Any dispute will be submitted to the competent courts of Mexico City.
