How to use the App

Start your first session
  1. Open the Routines tab — the preloaded routine Asalto (3:00 of work, 0:15 of rest, 8 rounds) is already there
  2. Tap the play button next to it
  3. Put the phone down: a bell opens each phase, beeps count down the last 3 seconds, and the vibration changes between work and rest

The timer screen shows the phase, the round and the time left. Use Pause and Resume at any time, Skip phase to jump to the next one, or End to finish early — the rounds you finished are kept in your history. When the last round ends you see a summary with your rounds and time trained.

Create, edit or delete a routine
  1. In the Routines tab, tap + (New routine)
  2. Give it a name and set Work (5 seconds to 60 minutes), Rest (0 to 15 minutes), Rounds (1 to 50) and an optional Warm-up (up to 15 minutes); the total time updates as you go
  3. Tap Save

Tap a routine to edit it, or swipe it to the left and tap Delete to remove it — your history stays. The free version keeps one routine; saving more is part of Unlock All.

Choose your cues: voice, beeps and vibration

Open the Settings tab and use the switches under Cues: Beeps (the bell and the countdown), Vibration, and Voice, which calls "Work", "Rest" and "Round 3 of 8" in the App's language (part of Unlock All). Asalto mixes with your music; the voice lowers it only while it speaks, then brings it back.

Get alerts with the iPhone locked and on your Apple Watch

On first launch the App asks for permission to send Notifications. If you allow it, you get a time-sensitive alert at every change of phase while a session runs, even if iOS stops the App in the background — and your Apple Watch taps your wrist when it mirrors your iPhone's alerts.

If alerts are off, the Settings tab shows Alerts are off with an Open Settings button. You can also go to iOS Settings → Apps → Asalto → Notifications and turn on Allow Notifications and Time Sensitive Notifications. For your Apple Watch, open the Watch app on your iPhone, tap Notifications, and make sure alerts from Asalto are mirrored.

See the session on the Lock Screen and in the Dynamic Island

With Unlock All, a Live Activity appears when a session starts. It shows the phase, the round and a live countdown on the Lock Screen and in the Dynamic Island, and ends with the session. If you don't see it, check iOS Settings → Apps → Asalto → Live Activities.

Check your history

Open the History tab (part of Unlock All). It shows this week's sessions, rounds and time trained, a chart of the last seven days, and your sessions day by day, marking the ones saved to Apple Health. A session is recorded when you finish it, or when you end it after completing at least one round.

Save your sessions to Apple Health

With Unlock All, each finished session is saved to Apple Health as a High Intensity Interval Training workout, with its start, end and pauses. The App asks for permission on the welcome screens; the summary at the end of a session tells you whether it was Saved to Apple Health.

If you declined, open the Health app, tap your profile picture, choose Apps under Privacy, select Asalto and turn on workouts. Asalto only writes workouts: it never reads your health data.

Change the language

Open the About tab and use the Language selector to choose English, Español or Português (Brasil). The change applies across the whole App, including the voice cues.

Unlock All and Apple ID

How much does Asalto cost?

The App is a free download with the full interval timer, one routine, the bell, beeps, vibration and phase alerts. Unlock All is an optional, one-time In-App Purchase of $2.99 USD (prices vary by country) that adds unlimited routines, voice cues, the Live Activity and Dynamic Island, the history and Apple Health workouts. No subscriptions, no ads.

Restore purchases on a new iPhone or after reinstalling
  1. Make sure your iPhone is signed in to the same Apple ID you used to buy Unlock All
  2. Open the Settings tab
  3. In the Purchases section, tap Restore Purchases — the Unlock All screen has the same button

The App asks Apple for your purchase and unlocks the premium features again at no cost. Once restored, the section shows Everything is unlocked. If someone in your family group must approve purchases (Ask to Buy), everything unlocks as soon as the purchase is approved.

Request a refund
  1. Go to reportaproblem.apple.com
  2. Sign in with your Apple ID
  3. Find the Asalto Unlock All purchase
  4. Choose Request a refund and follow the steps

Refunds are decided and processed by Apple, not by the developer. If a refund is granted, the premium features are locked again; your routines and recorded sessions stay on your iPhone, and workouts already saved to Apple Health stay there.

Manage your payment method

Your payment method belongs to your Apple ID. Update it in Settings → [your name] → Payment & Shipping or at account.apple.com. Apple's guide: support.apple.com/en-us/118429.

Family Sharing

Unlock All supports Family Sharing. Members of your family group can restore it on their own iPhone without paying again. Set it up in Settings → [your name] → Family Sharing; Apple's guide: support.apple.com/en-us/108380.

Do I need to cancel anything?

No. Unlock All is a one-time purchase, not a subscription. Nothing renews and you will never be charged again for it.

Frequently asked questions

Do I need to create an account?

No. Asalto works completely without registration. No email, no password, no sign-in. Open the App and tap play.

Do you store my data on any server?

Your personal content, no. Your routines, history and settings are stored only on your iPhone, and the App does not use iCloud. To help us improve the App, it sends anonymous usage and diagnostics data to our own first-party analytics service. That data is never linked to your identity — there is no account and no user profile. Purchases are processed by Apple; we never see your payment details. See our Privacy Policy.

What does the App measure, and why?

Which actions are used (for example, starting, finishing or ending a session early with its rounds, work and rest lengths and minutes trained, pausing, skipping a phase, saving a routine, and whether the Unlock All screen was opened or a purchase went through), App and iOS versions, approximate country and city, and crash and performance reports. It runs on our own server, it is never sold or shared, it is never used for advertising, and it is kept for up to 13 months. It never includes your name, email, location coordinates, payment details, routine names or health data. To ask for deletion, email [email protected].

What does Asalto do with Apple Health?

Only if you unlock the premium features and give permission, it writes each finished session as a workout (type, start, end and pauses). It never reads anything from Apple Health, never uploads or shares health data, and never sends it to our analytics. You can turn access off at any time in the Health app.

Does the timer keep running with my iPhone locked?

Yes. The cues keep sounding with the iPhone locked, and the clock stays exact: if iOS stops the App in the background, the phase alerts still arrive (if notifications are allowed), and when you come back the timer shows exactly where the session is.

I can't hear the cues
I didn't get an alert, or my Apple Watch didn't tap
Does the App work offline?

Yes. The timer, the cues, your routines and the history all work without an internet connection. Buying or restoring Unlock All needs a connection to reach the App Store.

Which devices are supported?

Any iPhone running iOS 26 or later. The App is iPhone-only; iPad is not supported at this time. There is no separate Apple Watch app — your watch receives Asalto's alerts as mirrored iPhone notifications.

How do I report a bug?

Email [email protected] and include:

Can I suggest a new feature?

Of course. Email [email protected] and tell us what would make your training better. Every idea is read, and the most requested ones shape the next updates.

How do I delete my data?

Uninstall the App. Everything it stored on your device — routines, history, settings and the random installation identifier — is permanently removed. There is no account to close. Workouts already saved to Apple Health stay there until you delete them in the Health app. Your Unlock All purchase stays on your Apple ID and can be restored later. Anonymous analytics data is deleted automatically after 13 months, or sooner if you ask us by email.
