The story behind Asalto

In the middle of a round, the last thing you want is to look at a screen.

Asalto — Spanish for a boxing round — makes the timer talk to you instead. A bell opens each phase, beeps count down the final seconds, work and rest feel different on your skin, and a voice tells you which round you are on. The routine that comes preloaded, 3:00 of work and 0:15 of rest for 8 rounds, is the one it was built around.

It keeps exact time with the iPhone locked in your pocket or on the floor, plays over your music, and asks for nothing: no account, no ads. Made in Mexico by Christian Irack at Ingeniería.dev.
