End User License Agreement (EULA) · AC Control · Last updated: May 4, 2026 · Version 1.0
This agreement is entered into between you (the end user) and Ingeniería.dev, operated by Chris Flores, with its registered address at Av. Javier Barros Sierra 495, Santa Fe Lomas de Santa Fe Zedec Santa Fé, Álvaro Obregón 01219, Mexico City, CDMX, Mexico. Contact: christian@irack.mx.
AC Control is a free iOS application that discovers and controls smart air conditioners on your home Wi-Fi network. It communicates locally with AC units using HomeKit, Matter 1.2+, Daikin BRP069, Tuya/Smart Life LAN, Midea V3, and Gree EWPE Smart protocols. No account, no subscription, no cloud relay is required or used.
We grant you a limited, personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use AC Control on iOS devices you own or control, subject to these Terms and to Apple's Standard EULA.
AC Control is free. There are no In-App Purchases, no subscriptions, no premium tiers, and no ads. Every feature is included at no cost.
AC Control does not require you to create an account or sign up. User identity is handled entirely through your device's Apple ID for the purpose of App Store distribution only. We do not manage passwords or login credentials.
See our Privacy Policy. In short: all your data lives on your device and local network; we do not collect or transmit personal information.
The App is designed for personal, residential use. It is your responsibility to ensure that all AC units you control belong to you or that you have explicit authorization from the owner. The Developer is not liable for any unauthorized access, property damage, or physical injury that may result from improper use.
AC Control uses publicly documented and reverse-engineered protocols (HomeKit HMServiceTypeHeaterCooler, Matter 1.2+ local API, Daikin BRP069 REST, Tuya LAN, Midea V3, Gree EWPE Smart) to communicate with AC units. These protocols are implemented locally on your device. The Developer is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or partnered with Apple, Daikin, Tuya, Midea, Gree, or any other AC manufacturer.
Compatibility is not guaranteed for all device firmware versions. Manufacturer firmware updates may change device behavior in ways that affect the App's ability to communicate with a given unit.
AC Control, its code, design, interface, text, and brand are the property of Ingeniería.dev and are protected by Mexican and international intellectual property laws. These Terms do not transfer any ownership to you — only a license to use the App.
The App is provided "AS IS" and "AS AVAILABLE", without any express or implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement. We do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation, nor compatibility with any specific AC model or firmware version.
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, the Developer shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, nor for any losses arising from your use of or inability to use the App, including but not limited to equipment damage, energy costs, or property damage resulting from AC operation. The Developer's aggregate liability shall not exceed the amount you have paid for the App (which is zero, as the App is free).
You agree to indemnify and hold the Developer harmless from any claims arising from: (a) your improper use of the App, (b) your violation of these Terms, (c) your violation of third-party rights, or (d) unauthorized control of AC equipment you do not own.
We may suspend or terminate your license if you breach these Terms. You may terminate this license at any time by uninstalling the App.
We may update these Terms from time to time. The current version will always be published at this URL, along with the date of the update. Continued use of the App after an update constitutes your acceptance. Material changes will also be announced inside the App.
Apple Inc. is not a party to this agreement and is not responsible for the App or its content. In the event of a conflict between these Terms and Apple's Standard EULA, the terms more restrictive and applicable to Apple under the App Store Review Guidelines shall prevail.
These Terms are governed by the laws of the United Mexican States. Any dispute shall be submitted to the competent courts of Mexico City, and both parties expressly waive any other jurisdiction that might otherwise apply based on current or future domicile.
If any provision of these Terms is found to be invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions shall remain in full force and effect.
