Terms of Use

End User License Agreement (EULA) · Git Manager Pro · Last updated: May 20, 2026 · Version 1.0

Before you continue By purchasing, downloading, installing, or using Git Manager Pro, you accept these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the App. These Terms govern your use of Git Manager Pro purchased directly from the developer.

1. Parties

This agreement is entered into between you (the end user) and Ingeniería.dev, operated by Chris Flores, with its registered address at Av. Javier Barros Sierra 495, Santa Fe Lomas de Santa Fe Zedec Santa Fé, Álvaro Obregón 01219, Mexico City, CDMX, Mexico. Contact: christian@irack.mx.

2. App description

Git Manager Pro is a native macOS Git client. It provides a graphical interface on top of the standard git command-line tool that ships with macOS or the Xcode Command Line Tools. It adds, on top of standard Git operations, three features that travel with each repo: per-branch notes, per-repo virtual environment profiles, and inline file metadata (last-modified time, language detection, line count, stash state) shown next to each file in the working tree. The App is designed for software engineers who keep multiple repos, branches, and stacks open at the same time. The App runs entirely on the user's Mac and stores all of its metadata locally.

3. License

We grant you a limited, personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use Git Manager Pro on Mac computers you own or control, subject to these Terms and to Apple's Standard EULA.

3.1 Restrictions

4. Purchase

4.1 Price

Git Manager Pro is a paid app with a one-time purchase of $99 USD, paid directly to the developer. There are no subscriptions, no auto-renewals, no in-app purchases, and no premium tiers. Every feature of the App is unlocked from the first launch.

4.2 Purchase processing

The purchase is processed exclusively by Apple through your Apple ID using StoreKit. Apple acts as the payment processor; we never have access to your payment card, billing address, or any other payment data.

4.3 No recurring charges

Because the purchase is a one-time transaction, there is nothing to cancel. You will not be billed again. The App does not auto-renew. The App has no billing cycle.

4.4 Restore purchase

If you reinstall the App on the same Mac or on a new Mac, enter your license key when prompted on first launch. Each license is valid for use by a single person across personally-owned Macs.

4.5 Family Sharing

Git Manager Pro supports Family Sharing. If you have Family Sharing enabled on your Apple ID, members of your family can install and use the App on their own Mac without paying again. Configure Family Sharing in System Settings → Apple ID → Family Sharing or follow Apple's guide: support.apple.com/en-us/108380.

4.6 Refunds

All refunds are handled by Apple, not by the Developer. To request a refund, visit reportaproblem.apple.com, sign in with your Apple ID, locate the Git Manager Pro purchase, and follow the refund flow. Apple applies its own refund policies.

4.7 Managing your payment method

Your Apple ID payment method is managed at account.apple.com or in System Settings → Apple ID → Payment & Shipping. Apple's guide: support.apple.com/en-us/118429.

5. Accounts and authentication

Git Manager Pro does not require you to create an account or sign up. There is no Git Manager Pro account, no login screen, and no server-side identity. Git authentication against your remotes (GitHub, GitLab, your own server) is handled entirely by your existing macOS Git credential mechanism (Git Credential Manager, SSH agent, ~/.gitconfig, or Keychain helper) — the App never reads, stores, or transmits your remote credentials, SSH keys, or personal access tokens.

6. User data and privacy

See our Privacy Policy. In short: every bookmark, tag, branch note, virtual environment profile, and file metadata cache lives on your Mac only, inside ~/Library/Application Support/dev.ingenieria.fork-pro/. The App has no backend. It does not collect or transmit any personal information. Git network operations (fetch, pull, push, clone) go directly from your Mac to the remote your repo is configured to use.

7. Use of the system git binary

Git Manager Pro relies on the standard git command-line tool that ships with macOS or the Xcode Command Line Tools, located by default at /usr/bin/git. The App invokes this binary as a child process to run standard Git commands on the repos you open. The App is not a reimplementation of Git, does not bundle its own copy of Git, and does not modify the behavior of the Git binary on your system. Any limitations, security characteristics, or bugs of your installed version of git apply equally inside the App.

8. Your repositories and authorship

You alone decide which repositories to open, which branches to switch to, which commits to make, which remotes to push to, and which branches to delete. The App is a neutral interface to the Git binary and the Developer exercises no control over, and assumes no responsibility for, the repositories you operate on, the code or content stored in them, the remotes they push to, or the consequences of any Git operation you trigger (including but not limited to force-push, history rewriting, branch deletion, stash drop, hard reset, or clean).

9. Intellectual property

Git Manager Pro, its code, design, interface, text, icons, and brand are the property of Ingeniería.dev and are protected by Mexican and international intellectual property laws. These Terms do not transfer any ownership to you — only a license to use the App. "Git" is a registered trademark of the Software Freedom Conservancy and the open-source git tool is licensed under the GNU General Public License v2; Git Manager Pro is an independent product that uses the system git binary at runtime and is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by the Git project, GitHub, Inc., GitLab Inc., Atlassian Corporation Plc, or any other Git hosting provider.

10. Disclaimer of warranties

The App is provided "AS IS" and "AS AVAILABLE", without any express or implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement. We do not guarantee uninterrupted, error-free, or lossless operation. Git operations can be destructive — please understand the consequences of each command (especially force-push, hard reset, clean, and branch delete) before triggering it. We recommend keeping recent backups of any repository whose work you cannot afford to lose.

11. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, the Developer shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of or inability to use the App, including but not limited to loss of code, loss of commits, loss of stashes, force-push accidents, rewritten history, deleted branches, broken remotes, or disruption of other tools in your workflow. Because the App is a low-cost one-time purchase, the Developer's aggregate liability shall not exceed the price you paid for the App.

12. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold the Developer harmless from any claims arising from: (a) your improper use of the App, (b) your violation of these Terms, (c) Git operations you triggered against repositories you were not authorized to access, or (d) your violation of applicable law.

13. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your license if you breach these Terms. You may terminate this license at any time by uninstalling the App. Because the purchase is a one-time transaction processed by Apple, termination of this license does not entitle you to a refund from the Developer; refund requests are handled by Apple under section 4.6.

14. Changes to the Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. The current version will always be published at this URL, along with the date of the update. Continued use of the App after an update constitutes your acceptance. Material changes will be announced on the landing page and emailed to license holders.

15. Relationship with Apple

Refunds are handled directly by the developer within 30 days of purchase, no questions asked. Reply to the purchase receipt to request one.

16. Governing law and jurisdiction

These Terms are governed by the laws of the United Mexican States. Any dispute shall be submitted to the competent courts of Mexico City, and both parties expressly waive any other jurisdiction that might otherwise apply.

17. Severability

If any provision of these Terms is found to be invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions shall remain in full force and effect.
