Crystal Maze started as a question: what if a maze never ended?
Most maze games give you a fixed grid and a finish line. I wanted the opposite — a maze that builds itself as you descend, where the only constant is that something behind you is catching up. The laser was the answer. It turns a puzzle into a race, and the crystals scattered through the corridors give you a reason to take risks instead of playing it safe.
The casino-style glow and particle trails came last, but they made the game feel alive. Every crystal you grab sparks. Every wall you barely clear pulses. It's a game you play for thirty seconds or thirty minutes, and either way you walk away wanting one more run.
Infinite procedural maze
The maze generates new corridors below you as you descend. No two runs are the same. No memorization, only instinct.
Descending laser
A wall of light chases you from above. Stay ahead or the run is over. The deeper you go, the faster it follows.
Crystal collection
Crystals are scattered through the corridors. Grab them for points. The best scores come from taking detours the laser barely allows.
Casino-style visuals
Neon glow, particle effects on every crystal, pulsing walls, and a glowing orb that lights up the maze around it.
One-thumb controls
Swipe to move. No buttons, no menus during gameplay. Your eyes stay on the maze.
